Blue Screen in Vista

Beware of the angry computer.  I adjusted my office today bought a nice gorilla rack to hold the HP 2820 printer( further away from me, loud sucker) move the computer on to it as well to get it off the floor.  I made one minor change to my configuration during this process.  I moved my USB 2.0 HP dvd740 from my USB hub onto one to the USB ports on the back of the computer.  This minor change presented me with a blue screen of death regarding an IRQ port when i rebooted the computer.  I turned the system off again removed the device and started it up. no issue.  Plugged it back in to the USB hub and it works like a charm.  I guess vista does not appreciate things being plugged in when its off.

As an aside I ordered my secondary display Gateway FPD2185W.  Its refurbished but i bought it from Costco so they are just ten minutes away if i have any problem.  I might add Costco has one of the best return policies.
