VS 2005 Build to the prior frame work

Irena Kennedy posted some simple instructions for compiling code for DOT NET 1.1 while using the visual studio 2005 IDE.  Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to do this with VC and MFC projects.  How would I specify the MFC 7 rather then MFC8?  The other trouble with this approach is all unit testing will be done on 2.0 right?
